Totally Original Space Shooter (T.O.S.S.)

T.O.S.S. (Totally Original Space Shooter) is a wave-survival game that serves as a modern tribute to the golden era of arcade gaming. Drawing heavy inspiration from classics like Asteroids, Galaga, and Space Invaders, T.O.S.S. captures the timeless, addictive gameplay that made those iconic titles so beloved, while seamlessly integrating modern twists and innovative elements. The game challenges players with increasingly difficult waves of enemies, encouraging strategic thinking, quick reflexes, and the thrill of high-score chasing.

T.O.S.S. was originally conceived for the SoloDev Marathon Jam #4, However,  it was submitted last-minute to Mini Jame Gam #39, where it earned an impressive score of  #45 out of 112 entries. This was achieved after just two days of development, showcasing the potential behind the project. The feedback received from the community inspired further refinement and growth, leading to its ongoing development.

Currently, T.O.S.S. is being actively developed with the aim of reaching new heights in the upcoming SDM Jam, with hopes to secure a much higher ranking and greater recognition. 

T.O.S.S. Achieved a score of #23 out of  101 entries in the SoloDev Marathon Jam #4.
